The Sporthorse Medical Diagnostic Centre (SMDC) in Heesch is a leading center for equine sports medicine, where excellence in veterinary care and teamwork go hand in hand. Working at SMDC means being part of a highly specialized team of internationally recognized experts in sports medicine and rehabilitation (orthopedics and internal medicine), diagnostic imaging, dentistry, and anesthesia.
Our state-of-the-art facilities include MRI, dual-energy CT, scintigraphy, advanced ultrasound and X-ray technology, UTC, and cutting-edge objective motion analysis. This allows us not only to deliver the highest level of care but also to approach complex cases through true multidisciplinary collaboration, together with our specialized farriers and physiotherapists.
