ISELP - 3D Imaging

ISELP Module 2026: 3D Imaging Course

April 16th – 17th 2026

Sporthorse Medical Diagnostic Centre (SMDC) is proud to host the module of the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP). This event will take place from April 16th-17th 2026, at our facility in Heesch, The Netherlands. Join us for the ISELP “3D Imaging Course”, an immersive, case-based course designed to help practitioners confidently integrate advanced imaging into clinical practice. Led by some of the top experts in the field, this two-day program focuses on using 3D imaging as a practical diagnostic tool. Participants will begin with the fundamentals of image acquisition, with special emphasis on MRI, CT and Scintigraphy, and gain a clear understanding of normal tissue characteristics, lesion identification, and image interpretation. You’ll learn how to select the appropriate modality and region to image, and more importantly, when and why to use each technology in real-world cases.

What sets this module apart is its highly interactive format. Inspired by the early days of nuclear scintigraphy and MRI education, ISELP (International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) has created a unique anatomic and case-based learning experience. The module provides 14 hours of instruction. By the end of the course, you will leave with a working, clinically applicable understanding of MRI, CT and Scintigraphy imaging, skills you can immediately implement in your own practice.

The ISELP strives to provide practitioners with contemporary knowledge and techniques in the continually evolving field of equine locomotor analysis, in order to aid the equine clinician to better understand and manage lameness conditions in the equine athlete.
